Football Scout & Recruitment Analyst

My approach to scouting combines traditional observation with video analysis and data to build a complete picture of a player or opposition. I have completed PFSA qualifications in scouting, opposition analysis and talent identification, and have produced reports across a range of competitions and player profiles. I have experience analysing matches both live and through video, with a focus on identifying strengths, weaknesses, tactical behaviours and how a player may translate into a specific team or playing model. Alongside traditional scouting methods, I have developed data-led recruitment projects using Python and football data, allowing me to analyse large player pools, create position-specific filters and identify potential targets for further scouting. My aim is always to turn observation and data into concise, practical information that can support recruitment and football decision-making.
